Kopi Luwak is the world’s rarest (and priciest) coffee, made from coffee beans eaten and excreted by civet cats. In Pakistan it is sold only as an import specialty. Recent online listings show extremely high prices for small packs. Even ground Kopi Luwak is costly: 100 g ground kopi luwak was ~Rs. 14,063[3] (≈PKR 140,600/kg). In general, smaller specialty packs (50–250 g) carry very high per-kg costs. Larger bulk packs (1 kg) are relatively cheaper per kg – for example, Monkey Business coffee (1 kg) at Rs. 53,649[4] (~PKR 53,600/kg) and Natureland (1 kg) at Rs. 42,592[5] (~PKR 42,600/kg). In short, retail Kopi Luwak in Pakistan runs from ~PKR 40–53k per kg for 1 kg packs, up to PKR 100–500k/kg for small specialty packs.

Wholesale/Import Pricing. Pakistani buyers ultimately source Kopi Luwak from Indonesia (and to a lesser extent Vietnam). Indonesian exporters quote raw (green) Kopi Luwak beans at about USD 300–325 per kg[9][10]. For example, one listing shows unroasted beans at US $300/kg[9] (~PKR 81,000/kg) and another at US $325/kg[10] (~PKR 88,000/kg). Roasted civet coffee is slightly cheaper in some quotes; one Indonesian supplier offered medium‑roast Kopi Luwak at ~US $250/kg[11] (~PKR 67,000/kg). Table 2 summarizes these bulk prices. Domestic vs. International Sellers. All Pakistani retailers found (Ubuy, ShoppingBag.pk, etc.) are essentially importing Kopi Luwak. ShoppingBag.pk and Ubuy list the above products (mostly shipped from US/UK/Amazon), and their prices exclude shipping/customs (actual delivered cost is higher). We found no purely domestic harvests or third‑country intermediaries with separate pricing – all sources track the global price.

Regional Differences. We saw no evidence of significant regional price variation within Pakistan. Major online sellers deliver nationwide (Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, etc.) at the same listed rates. Offline specialty cafes or importers may add markups, but no city‑by‑city data is available. In practice, prices seem uniform across Pakistan as per the cited listings.

Summary: Kopi Luwak commands very high prices in Pakistan. Retail per‑kg costs range roughly PKR 42–54k for bulk 1 kg bags and spike to PKR 100–530k per kg for 50–250 g gift packs[4][2]. Wholesale green beans are on the order of US $300–325/kg[9][10] (~PKR 80–88k), while roasted prices near US $250/kg[11] (~PKR 67k). These figures align with global Kopi Luwak pricing, confirming Pakistan pays premium import prices (often via e‑commerce) with no special domestic price advantage.
